PV Foreman – Commercial Solar

Hawaii | Full-time | $55–$67/hr + bonus

A renewable energy construction business is seeking an experienced PV Foreman to lead field delivery on commercial solar PV projects across Hawaii. This is a hands-on role focused on crew leadership, quality, safety, scheduling, and successful project execution from start to finish.

You’ll work closely with the Superintendent and Project Managers to manage field teams, coordinate subcontractors, support project plans, and help keep jobs on schedule and within budget.

This role is ideal for a journeyman-level applicant or those with 10-15 years field experience in solar PV and electrical systems.

What you’ll do

• Lead electrical apprentices, mechanical installers, and subcontractors on site.
• Read plans, build execution strategy, and support materials/equipment planning.
• Help manage schedules, weekly reports, timesheets, and change orders.
• Ensure quality, safety, and productivity across all field activities.
• Mentor and train new and existing field staff.
• Support customer communication and project coordination.

What we’re looking for

• 5+ years of construction experience, including 3+ years in commercial PV solar.
• State electrical certification required.
• Strong knowledge of commercial construction, PV installations, and wiring configurations.
• Working knowledge of commercial electrical systems.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and customer service skills.
• Valid driver’s licence and clean driving record.
