Role
Climate17 are working alongside a renewable energy business who specialise in Solar and wind technologies across the UK.
They are actively searching for an experienced Electrical Installer / Engineer to join their expanding operations and maintenance team to support with the ongoing performance, safety, and reliability of renewable energy assets through installation, maintenance, fault diagnosis and reporting activities.

Climate17 are working alongside a renewable energy business who specialise in Solar and wind technologies across the UK.
They are actively searching for an experienced Electrical Installer / Engineer to join their expanding operations and maintenance team to support with the ongoing performance, safety, and reliability of renewable energy assets through installation, maintenance, fault diagnosis and reporting activities.
Responsibilities
- Planned, preventative and reactive maintenance across a portfolio of solar PV and wind energy sites across the UK
- Rota-based monitoring of operational assets, including occasional weekend cover
- Fault identification, logging and resolution using a proactive, problem-solving approach
- Low Voltage electrical design, installation and commissioning
- Performance analysis of operational sites to support continuous improvement
- Completion of technical reports and documentation
Requirements
- C&G or NVQ Level 3 electrician
- City & Guilds 2391 or AM2
- BS7671 18th Edition
- Minimum of 5 years industry experience
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Full UK driving licence
- Flexibility to work across the UK, including evenings and weekends when required
- Solar PV installation and maintenance experience (desirable)
- CAD experience (desirable)
- Communications set-up and configuration (desirable)
- High Voltage design, installation or maintenance experience (desirable)
