Electrical Engineer – Battery Energy Storage Systems
Location: Honolulu, HI (on-site with flexible schedule)
Compensation: $90,000 – $120,000 per year bonus benefits

This position focuses on the design, integration, and performance optimization of Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) as part of broader solar and clean energy projects. It’s an excellent opportunity for a mid-level engineer who enjoys hands-on technical work and problem-solving in a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Support detailed electrical design and system integration for BESS projects.
  
  
• Assist in developing and refining control software and monitoring systems for optimal performance.
  
  
• Conduct testing, troubleshooting, and performance diagnostics on equipment and systems.
  
  
• Collaborate with engineering, construction, and operations teams during installation and commissioning.
  
  
• Contribute to the preparation of technical documentation, wiring diagrams, and system schematics.
  
  
• Help ensure compliance with safety and grid connection standards.
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent field.
  
  
• 2–5 years of experience working on battery storage, solar, or related electrical systems.
  
  
• Understanding of BESS components (inverters, PCS, EMS/BMS).
  
  
• Familiarity with control software, PLCs, or SCADA systems a strong plus.
  
  
• Strong troubleshooting skills and a collaborative approach to project work.
