Compensation: $90,000 – $120,000 per year bonus full benefits

An established and growing renewable energy developer in Hawaii is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to manage and deliver solar and energy storage projects from concept through completion. This role blends technical engineering with project management oversight, ideal for someone who thrives on seeing designs come to life in the field.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee electrical design, specification, and integration for solar and BESS (Battery Energy Storage System) projects.
• Manage project timelines, budgets, and vendor relationships to ensure successful delivery.
• Coordinate across engineering, procurement, and construction teams to align technical and project goals.
• Review drawings, interconnection requirements, and system layouts to ensure compliance and performance.
• Lead on-site technical activities during installation, testing, and commissioning phases.
• Support permitting and interconnection processes with utilities and relevant authorities.
• Identify and resolve technical or logistical challenges proactively.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline with extensive electrical engineering experience.
• 3  years of experience in electrical or renewable energy project work (solar, BESS, or utility-scale power preferred).
• Proven track record managing technical deliverables and project schedules.
• Strong understanding of electrical systems design, interconnection, and controls.
• Hands-on mindset with excellent organizational and communication skills.
