An innovative renewable energy company is looking for a Senior Engineer or Project Engineer for a role based on Oahu, Hawaii. The business has some exciting technology in battery storage, solar PV, and energy management.

With career progression, an entrepreneurial culture, and bespoke technology, this role would suit a person who has a strong engineering background and solar, energy storage and/or microgrid experience. Five or more years of technical engineering experience would be ideal.

If you're committed to driving clean, renewable energy this is an opportunity to help people control how they power their businesses and homes without the need for fossil fuels that harm the environment. 

Role:

  • Develop energy management software (EMS) for battery energy storage.
  • Responsible for EMS scheme and implementation with clients.
  • Responsible for system communication, control strategy and communication protocol.
  • Preparation of EMS technical documents.
  • Design and Project feasibility parameters, time and cost constraints.
  • Analyse user interface.
  • Develop code and designs software applications
  • Monitors and assists software installation

 

Job Requirements:

  • Master’s or PhD in engineering, electrical power systems, computer science or related.
  • Strong solar and battery energy storage experience.
  • SCADA system and automatic control.
  • Have good analytical and communication skills.


Compensation & Benefits:

  • Base salary $90,000—$120,000.
  • Performance-based incentives 25%.
