

I work on technical roles for clients operating in Renewable Energy. Finding the appropriate professionals for my clients makes me feel part of the solution to help tackle climate change.
I am originally from Barcelona with a background in business management and accountancy. Working in these areas made me realise that helping others, especially those with less opportunities and access to meaningful advice, was the most rewarding part of the job. This inspired me to redirect my career towards human resources.
After moving to the UK and becoming an immigrant, I found myself in a similar position to those that I helped before. This awoke an acute awareness in me of the importance of incorporating diversity strategies into hiring processes to promote equality and to bring fresh perspectives into an organisation.
At Climate17, I intend to support those who perhaps do not have the same opportunities and to contribute towards breaking unconscious biases. I will be connecting talented individuals with companies, advising them and helping them get noticed. This will equally benefit my clients by helping them access a larger and more diverse pool of talent that can bring new skills and perspectives into the workforce.
I truly believe that the solution to the world’s challenges, such as climate change, will come from our collective effort. People working together and building tolerance by considering different points of view. This is my contribution and the kind of social change that I want to be a part of.
