Mechanical Installer - Solar PV

A growing renewable energy contractor is seeking Mechanical Installers at entry, intermediate, and lead levels to support solar PV installation work across Oahu. This hands-on role includes rooftop and ground-mounted installation, material handling, racking assembly, module installation, and general site support.

Responsibilities include carrying tools and materials, installing penetrations and flashings, supporting PV module installation, assisting with wire pulling and trenching, and maintaining a clean, safe jobsite. Lead-level candidates will also read plans, lay out arrays, manage crew tasks, and support the site superintendent with day-to-day field operations.

Pay ranges by level:

• Mechanical Installer 1: $22–$25/hour

• Mechanical Installer 2: $25–$32/hour

• Mechanical Installer Lead: $35–$42/hour

What we’re looking for:

• Trade or construction experience preferred.

• Basic hand tools required.

• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

• Ability to work safely, follow directions, and stay on schedule.

• Lead candidates should have prior solar crew leadership experience.

• Willingness to travel occasionally for outer-island work.
