Climate17 are supporting a fast-growing renewable energy installation business delivering high-quality solar PV and air source heat pump solutions for residential and commercial customers across Southern England.
The business has reached a pivotal stage where they require an entrepreneurial Marketing Growth Manager to establish and build a scalable and effective marketing engine capable of supporting the next phase of expansion.
Responsibilities
Optimise the Conversion Funnel
- Conduct a full audit of the digital marketing funnel, identifying true cost per lead, survey, customer acquisition and channel performance.
- Optimise Google Ads campaigns by improving campaign structure, reducing wasted spend and increasing Quality Scores.
- Introduce and manage Google Local Services Ads where appropriate.
- Improve CRM workflows through automation, ensuring every enquiry receives timely follow-up and pipeline visibility is maintained.
- Lead the specification and delivery of a high-converting website focused on generating survey bookings and qualified enquiries.
Scale Sustainable Growth
- Increase marketing investment based on proven cost-per-acquisition performance.
- Develop long-term organic acquisition channels including SEO, review generation and local search visibility.
- Create sales enablement materials including capability presentations, case studies and proposal templates to support commercial growth.
- Produce weekly performance reporting with clear commercial insights to support strategic decision-making.
Requirements
- Experience in growth marketing, demand generation or performance marketing with ownership of the complete customer acquisition funnel.
- A proven history of identifying weaknesses within a marketing funnel and delivering measurable improvements supported by performance data.
- Hands-on Google Ads management experience, including campaign restructuring, optimisation and Quality Score improvements.
- Experience implementing or managing CRM systems and marketing automation.
- Strong analytical capability using tools such as GA4, Looker Studio, or equivalent.
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail.
- Renewable energy, solar, heat pumps, home improvement, construction, property or technical installation sectors. (desirable)
- Google Local Services Ads and SEO strategy and technical optimisation (desirable)
- Marketing performance reporting linked to commercial and financial data (desirable)
