A growing renewable energy business is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead and coordinate engineering, procurement, and construction activities across energy projects for their EPC team. This role will be responsible for ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and in line with schedule, budget, and technical expectations.

The successful candidate will act as the central point of coordination across all project execution phases, helping align technical design, procurement, construction, and stakeholder management. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys working across multiple disciplines.

The company is an international developer, EPC and operator focused on large scale solar PV, BESS and wind projects. The US team is highly collaborative, boutique and this role sits within the EPC team who work alongside the development team in Charlotte, NC.

Role Overview
The Project Manager will oversee projects from kick-off through commissioning, ensuring seamless integration between engineering, procurement, and construction teams. The role requires strong organisation, commercial awareness, and the ability to manage interfaces with clients, suppliers, contractors, and internal teams.

This opportunity is well suited to someone with EPC execution experience in renewable energy who can balance strategic oversight with practical project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end EPC project management from project kickoff through commissioning.
• Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and risk registers.
• Coordinate engineering, procurement, and construction teams to ensure smooth handoffs and execution.
• Monitor progress across all project phases and ensure alignment with delivery targets.
• Manage technical documentation and ensure design compliance.
• Serve as the main point of contact across internal and external stakeholders.
• Liaise with clients, suppliers, contractors, and project partners.
• Support project issue resolution and decision-making under pressure.
• Travel to project sites as needed.

Candidate Profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial, Energy, Civil, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• Master’s degree in Project Management or Renewable Energy is a plus.
• 5 years of experience in technical EPC project execution, preferably in renewables.
• Hands-on experience with photovoltaic, BESS, and electrical infrastructure projects.
• Proven ability to manage design, specification, and execution phases from end to end.
• Strong leadership skills and ability to motivate cross-functional teams.
• Results-driven mindset with a track record of delivering commitments.
• Excellent communication and relationship-management skills.
• Ability to troubleshoot and make sound decisions under pressure.
• PMP certification is highly valued.
• OSHA 30 certification is a plus.
• Spanish language skills are an advantage.
