The Role
We are currently seeking an Electrical Engineer to join a boutique renewable energy company based in Honolulu. Their focus in on C&I BESS and Solar PV projects across Hawaii and internationally, this role would be project managing the electrical engineering aspects of existing and new BESS projects. The Role
- Manage end-to-end electrical engineering projects including resources, budgets and timelines.
- Working on new projects as well as O&M on some existing projects.
- Design and oversee electrical systems for C&I BESS and Solar projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
- Prepare project documentation such as scopes of work (SOW), technical specifications, and reports.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including design, procurement, construction, and quality assurance.
- Prepare technical specifications for equipment and installation, including scope of work and selection of subcontractors and suppliers.
- Review and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and contracts.
- Conduct site visits as necessary to oversee project execution and resolve issues.
- Managing projects end-to-end in renewables, construction, electrical projects or similar.
- Electrical Engineering Degree.
- Strong understanding of Engineering principles.
- 3 years of work experience.
- Renewable energy background ideal however candidates with wider electrical project experience (e.g. in construction) may be applicable too.
- BESS and/or solar design experience.
- Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera, AutoCAD).
- Circa $130,000 plus bonus and benefits.
