Greater Houston, TX | $175K–$220K base + 25% bonus

THE OPPORTUNITY

Climate17 is supporting an international infrastructure contractor as it builds a dedicated US transmission and substation business. This is a high-impact commercial leadership opportunity for someone who already knows the utility market and wants to create a pipeline, shape strategy and help establish a new business line.

You will have significant autonomy, direct access to senior leadership and the support of an established construction organization. The focus is standalone high-voltage power infrastructure, not routine distribution product sales.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

•  Originate transmission line, substation, switchyard and grid-interconnection EPC opportunities.

•  Develop senior relationships with US utilities, transmission developers and major power users.

•  Identify upcoming capital programs and convert early conversations into qualified bids and contract awards.

•  Lead pursuit strategy with estimating, engineering and operations colleagues.

•  Help define where and how the business grows across Texas and other priority US power markets.

WHAT YOU WILL BRING

•  Around 15 years of relevant transmission, substation, utility infrastructure or electrical EPC experience.

•  A proven record developing and winning transmission/substation opportunities.

•  Established relationships with US utility and transmission decision-makers.

•  Commercial credibility, strong market knowledge and the independence to build from a relatively early stage.

•  Engineering or construction experience beneficial; hands-on BD experience essential.

PACKAGE

$175,000–$220,000 base + 25% bonus, with flexibility for exceptional candidates who can bring immediate market access and relevant contract wins. Comprehensive benefits.

Greater Houston / The Woodlands area preferred | Approximately 40–60% travel.
