I am privileged to lead the Decarbonisation and Sustainability team at Climate17, using an agile recruitment process created for niche roles in this sector. I have also developed Energy Flexibility and Carbon Offsetting specialisations and have worked in renewable energy markets, which gave me a good understanding of opportunities and challenges in attracting talent across those sectors. I support the sustainable development our society by creating freedom of choice for clients and candidates.
My journey to Climate17 started in 2005, coordinating European Union projects to bridge gaps in understanding between cultures, challenge prejudice, and bring people from different backgrounds to work together. It was an energising, mind-opening experience, which aligned with my mission, and from that moment I aimed to be a part of an environment that helps to connect us, build bridges, and create a common goal.
I was lucky to start working for a business management consultancy focusing on employee relations, staffing strategy, and communication coaching. Just as I was looking to settle in Italy, an old friend from university called me and recommended that I should move to Bournemouth, because it was the “California of the UK”. I have found something special about this place, and it is here that I felt most at home.
I’m raising a baby daughter, who reinforces my drive to become a better person and bring more value to a more sustainable, peaceful, and happier world. In my professional life, I value reciprocated honesty, a well-defined purpose, and a mix of data-driven and humane approach to business.
I am proud to be part of the Climate17 team because we are bringing together mission-driven people and organisations seeking to bridge the gap between ‘business as usual’ and a regenerative world.
