Our client is a leading national surveying practice. Within their infrastructure division, they are growing their telecoms team with a focus on the south east area and are currently and on the lookout for talented surveyors to join them to work with a growing client base in the region.

They are keen to speak to dynamic, ambitious Telecoms Surveyors who are looking to drive their career to the next level and join the business as they continue their successful growth as one of the market leaders. 

The division operates across several functions including estate management, Land Assembly, Valuation, L&T, Agency, project development, acquisition services and CPO and Compensation. This role would be mixed and would involve utilising a broad range of experience to undertake work across: 

  • Land Assembly 
  • Valuation 
  • Estate Management 
  • Capital Project delivery 
  • CPO & Compensation 
  • Agency 


The role

You will be providing property advice to a wide range of clients, predominantly Landowners but also mobile operators, connectivity providers and fibre network companies. 

You will work across private, institutional, infrastructure and framework clients. You will deal with all classes of property asset and site type, from small rural enterprise to complex multi-site portfolios on critical infrastructure and central London investment property.

As a Senior Telecoms Surveyor you’ll be involved Negotiation of renewal and new site agreements, Rent reviews, Lease and equipment audits, Apparatus removal or relocation for redevelopment, Alternative Dispute Resolution (mediation, arbitration, expert determination), Expert witness, Strategic advice, Policy advisory (5G and small cells) and Regulator (Ofcom) representations.

These are exciting times for the business, and you’ll be instrumental in developing client relationships, networking and bringing in new business to support the ongoing expansion of the business. 


About you

  • Ideally a RICS accredited degree or equivalent.
  • MRICS, AssocRICS or very nearly qualified would be considered. 
  • Experience in working as a Surveyor on Telecoms projects providing advice across a range of project types, ideally working in private practice.
  • Experience in developing and building client relationships.
  • Motivated by a fast-paced environment, flexible in your approach and be a supportive and collaborative team player proactively participating in managing and developing other team members. CAAV qualification is desirable, but not required.
