The Civil Site Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing all civil aspects of the construction of a photovoltaic plant in Trinidad & Tobago. This role ensures the project is completed on time, within budget, and meets quality and safety standards.
The Civil Site Manager coordinates with subcontractors, internal teams, and other stakeholders to ensure efficiency and effectiveness in project execution.

Main Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage daily activities on the construction site, ensuring adherence to the project schedule.
- Coordinate and supervise the work of subcontractors and internal teams, ensuring proper execution of civil works.
- Ensure compliance with local regulations, building codes, and environmental laws.
- Implement and monitor safety measures on-site, promoting a safe work culture.
- Address technical issues and operational challenges that arise during construction.
- Collaborate with the Project Manager and other teams (electrical, mechanical, etc.) to ensure coordinated progress and project integration.
- Prepare regular reports on project progress, costs, risks, and emerging issues.
- Participate in progress and coordination meetings with all stakeholders.
- Ensure the quality of the work performed, adhering to project standards and specifications.
- Supervise and control the use of materials and equipment on-site.
- Promote sustainable and efficient construction practices.
- Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in site management, preferably in renewable energy projects or photovoltaic plants.
- In-depth knowledge of civil construction methods and practices.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Ability to effectively solve problems and make informed decisions.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team.
- Knowledge of project management software and planning tools.
- Certification in construction safety (OSHA, NEBOSH, or equivalent) is desirable.
- Availability to work on-site and adapt to project conditions.
- Spanish level B2 or equivalent is a plus.
