Company Summary
An international solar and storage manufacturer is looking for a Regional Sales Manager for a position in Hawaii.

Position Summary
Focusing on battery storage and solar PV, the role involves nurturing client relationships across Hawaii, understanding the benefits of the company's products and developing sales pipeline. The client is seeking applicants with an existing network of businesses and good knowledge of PV modules and battery storage technology.

The person in this role should be living in Hawaii with established partnerships in the area. Although working from home, there is likely to be 50% travel across the islands in order to make sales.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Develop strong client relationships
  • Generate and identify leads within the business network
  • Develop an account penetration strategy to grow the customer base within the territory.
  • Reach sales, margin and market share targets.
  • Control the sales cycle for small utility, commercial & industrial and residential clients.
  • Frequently establish and communicate sales forecasts, sales opportunities and prospect review.
  • Assist in marketing strategy, and share competitive information
  • Attend trade shows and conferences

Required Qualifications

  • 5 years of B2B selling experience, including 3 years in photovoltaic or battery storage
  • Experience selling PV racking, inverter, BOS components.
  • Engineering background / technical sales proficiency preferred.
  • Degree in engineering, business or related field.
  • Penetration strategy/plan.
  • Strong presentation and communication.

Compensation & Benefits:

  • $130,000 - $160,000 base salary
  • Bonuses up to 60%
