The Role
As the Director of Development, you will help grow the company’s wind energy portfolio. You'll manage projects from inception to completion, including site identification, feasibility studies, permitting, stakeholder engagement, and overseeing construction. This role is perfect for a strategic thinker with stellar project management skills and a deep understanding of the wind energy industry.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead Projects: Drive wind energy projects from concept to commercial operation.
• Manage Permitting: Ensure all environmental and regulatory approvals are secured.
• Engage Stakeholders: Build strong relationships with landowners, communities, and agencies.
• Financial Analysis: Evaluate project viability and prepare investment proposals.
• Oversee Development: Coordinate timelines, budgets, and resources.
• Ensure Compliance: Handle technical assessments and regulatory compliance.
• Mitigate Risks: Identify and address project risks with contingency plans.
• Report Progress: Update senior management on key milestones and financial performance.

Your Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, environmental science, business, or related field.
• 7-10 years of experience in wind energy project development.
• Strong project management and stakeholder negotiation skills.
• Proficiency in financial modeling and economic analysis.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Willingness to travel for project sites and meetings.
