Our client has a mission and is on a climate quest to lead the race in new technology and solutions to help organisations reduce their carbon impact. This is an exciting time to join with new products and solutions coming to the market to help businesses reduce their impact and work towards removing CO2 from the atmosphere.

Although newly established, the business has established themselves quickly and continues to grow, they have strong financial backing and have set their sights to be the first company in the EU offering a carbon removal solution. With that in mind they are keen to find a passionate and well-informed professional who to join them on their journey. There is no fixed location for this role, although there are office hubs in London and Manchester, you can be based anywhere in the World!

Responsibilities

  • You will have absolute responsibility and direction of the Climate products and work closely with the senior management team to establish and drive the programme.
  • Engage with researchers, businesses, academics and NGOs.
  • Create and develop products to take to the market with necessary workflows, tools and reporting process in place.
  • Work in close collaboration with engineers and designers to manage the development of climate products.
  • Your goal is to ensure the smooth operation of the Climate offering to clients and ensure user experience and client needs are met, whilst leading the marketplace.

Requirements

  • You will have ambition and drive for working to reduce climate change and the removal CO2 from the atmosphere.
  • Naturally work at pace and be results driven, seeing problems as challenges to overcome.
  • Have established your career background from a start-up, technology or consulting organisation.
  • Be minimum degree level educated (Ideally Masters) with an earth / climate science or similar subject.
  • Enjoy problem solving, understand technical academic content and have a commercial mind set with a genuine interest in the marketplace.
  • Understand the importance of maintaining positive relationships and have the confidence to articulate yourself to a varied audience.
  • Demonstrate self-motivation whilst managing your time, tackling every day demands and keeping abreast of market trends and the competition.
