About the Role:
As a Business Development Manager, youll build strong client relationships, identify growth opportunities, and drive the delivery of renewable energy solutions. This role spans client engagement, sales, project coordination, and strategy, making it central to the companys mission to transform the energy sector.
What Youll Do:
- Business Development Identify new opportunities, deliver compelling proposals, and lead negotiations to meet or exceed sales targets.
- Client Engagement Build and nurture relationships with clients, acting as the go-to contact for inquiries and tailored renewable energy solutions.
- Market Strategy Stay ahead of industry trends, analyze the market, and implement strategies to expand the companys footprint.
- Project Coordination Oversee project handovers, collaborate with internal teams, and ensure milestones are met while addressing risks proactively.
- Reporting Keep detailed records of client interactions, project updates, and sales performance, delivering insights to leadership.
- Customer Support Provide exceptional after-sales support to maintain satisfaction and foster long-term partnerships.
What Were Looking For:
- 3-5 years in account management and business development.
- Experience in wind, solar, or battery energy storage systems (BESS), with wind preferred.
- Solid background in renewable energy development, with a preference for wind energy expertise.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Proven ability to juggle multiple priorities and thrive in virtual, collaborative environments.
- High emotional intelligence and hands-on problem-solving mindset.
- Willingness to travel up to 50%, with occasional in-person meetings in Minneapolis if working remotely.
