Reporting to the Sales Operations Manager, your mission is critical to the growth plans of the business. Outlined below are some of the key responsibilities that you will have in your role. Driving the prospects down the presales pipeline being your main mission, you will also support & input to the rest of the marketing activities. From time to time, you will be asked to perform other roles that are deemed important for the success of the company.

You will deliver new meetings from inbound and self-generated leads to enable the team to achieve the Sales targets for UK and Ireland. Support the development of the prospect database and Salesforce processes within the appropriate business areas.

You will support the technical positioning of the entire company portfolio of products, services and solutions and help the sales team to get meetings. You will understand customers' challenges and priorities to effectively position a solution in the market. You should demonstrate a client-centric approach, share knowledge, and motivate the Account Managers and customers to increase successful closure of opportunities to drive revenue.

  • Generation of qualified opportunities from search & marketing generated leads, social media, targeted cold prospecting campaigns, events, or other sources you will manage.
  • Ensuring that leads are followed up in an effective and positive way to generate the highest possible conversion rate to sales opportunities. Calling senior people within medium to large-sized organisations working across a range of departments. Build and expand client relationships.
  • Identifying new target contacts and prospects.
  • Providing ad hoc marketing material to convince the leads.
  • Gain understanding of market messages and to contribute to the development of propositions that are appropriate for prospecting.
  • Sharing best practices with the team.
  • Tracking the campaign and opportunity generation progress and any sales in CRM.
  • Nurturing a pool of contacts that have the potential to turn into opportunities in the future.
  • Meeting monthly targets.


  • Amazing Salesperson. You can develop and manage a pipeline with a proven track record of handling and managing many accounts simultaneously. Meeting opportunity generation targets.
  • A proactive and confident nature on the phone. You can initiate credible, non-scripted telephone conversations with senior executives. You can use experience and business acumen to encourage natural dialogue to gather information and build relationships.
  • You can deal positively with rejection.
  • You are a strong co-ordinator. You know how to maintain an accurate database of contacts and transactional activity in a CRM, ideally Salesforce.
  • Go-Getter. You are willing to go the extra mile; self-directed and resourceful. You can work alone and as part of a bigger team.
  • You have a degree level with a marketing, business or engineering focus preferred.
  • Effective Communicator. You are clear and persuasive in verbal and written communications with highly effective use of email and telephone. You can learn and communicate the business benefits of technology solutions for the appropriate business areas.
