Climate17 Launches New Executive Search Practice, Climate17 Search

Specialist Energy & Sustainability recruiters, Climate17, have launched a new executive search practice, undertaking executive, c-suite and board level appointments for purpose-driven organisations. The new firm, called Climate17 Search, is led by Diana Sofia Moreno-Gomez, a head-hunter with over 15 years of international search experience, and a proven track record of placing key individuals tasked with advancing sustainability agendas within large and medium-sized companies.

Diana is responsible for the growth and development of the business with the purpose of powering nature positive Impact.

Climate17 Search will be key in helping the Climate17 group achieve their mission to bring together purpose-driven people and organisations seeking to bridge the gap between ‘business as usual’ and a regenerative world.

“In the current market, in a time where the climate crisis needs to be at the forefront of the industry, Climate17 Search is here to guide companies through the process of hiring Purpose Driven Leaders using our years of combined market knowledge,” said David Blake, Co-Founder of Climate17. “As sustainability and ESG considerations become more central to corporate and investor agendas, we have already seen in 2022 alone a massive increase in demand for senior-level individuals with the skills and experience needed to effect positive change.”

Diana Sofia Moreno-Gomez said: “Sustainability is no longer a question of choice, it is a must for any business that wants to maintain longevity and credibility. My objective is to make sure that today’s progressive leaders are rightly positioned at the heart of the organisations that are building nature positive economies.”

Climate17 Search has already made additional hires into the team, bringing in an experienced Executive Researcher, and plan to make further hires as workload increases throughout 2022.
